Why don’t laptop docks have included cooling fans/pads for the laptops? There are some HP laptops at work that keep randomly shutting down, and it appears to be from a heat issue, as both machines could easily fry an egg on the bottom of them after a day of use.

I would like to get some cooling pads for the machines, but then the users can’t use their docks. Why isn’t there a bunch of cooling systems for laptops that fit with docks? Or better yet, why don’t laptop manufacturers include extra fans in docks to cool their machines?

I know it doesn’t really fix the problem of heat dissipation when they are away from the extra cooling, but I doubt laptop manufacturers are giving cooling the needed thought that it deserves.
