Yesterday, I made it to a surprise party for Barry, organized by his wife. I gave Barry his birthday present for his big-three-oh. I got to meet some of Barry and Jo’s friends that I’ve never met before, and see Pat, a friend from high school. It was a good time chatting about all kinds of geeky things, and we did a bit of drinking. Barry and I realized that he and I have only shared about one beer before last night. I ended up drinking a little too much, but overall it was a great evening. It was nice to hang out with Barry again and I hope to see him again soon.

Definitely some geeky topics in there that were discussed in length in a complex manner, and fairly comprehensive, despite the amount of alcohol being consumed.
