Today, I’ve been spending some serious time getting my apartment sorted out. I’m slowly getting things organized and while I have a LONG way to go before I’m set-up, I’m happy that there is at least progress being made. Next weekend, for Canada Day, Tom and Tracey are holding an event, and I’ve offered my bathroom as the second bathroom for the potentially thirty people that will be over celebrating. As such, I wanted to make sure I got that done today so that it would look nicer and be usable by the time Canada Day came around, and so today, I finally have a real bathroom set-up.
I’ve picked up pieces here and there, and went to Giant Tiger today to fill in any of the remaining gaps on what I wanted. I was looking to add some various greens to the bathroom, and I’m happy with how it turned out.
I am still hoping to unpack or store away the boxes in my living room, break down all the boxes from other things, and get rid of any remaining garbage from packaging. I put up my living room curtains all the way today, and sorted out a bunch of other stuff. I still need to buy some furniture to sort things into and have places to display stuff, but one step at a time. I need more money before I can buy the things that will turn this apartment into a home. I have to admit though, I’m really not enjoying setting everything up. I’d rather be the visionary, and have someone else do it…

Good job on the bathroom! And, as much as you may not be enjoying setting everything up – I’m sure it will be worth it in the end – a comfortable environment to feel good in. 🙂
Love you!
