So, I am coming into another set of life changes, as I get closer to ending my full time employment with Charity Marketing Group they are asking me to finish up all of my major projects and make sure that everything is in tip top shape so they can do without tech support for as long as possible. There have been some interesting issues in migrating their e-mail from Exchange to Gmail, and so today was very stressful.
On top of that is my interest in moving to Ottawa as soon as possible. I’m sort of in a hurry up and wait thing right now where I’m waiting to hear back on when I could possibly move in. I’m currently sorting through all of my stuff to downsize so that moving is easy, but then I’ll need to buy things once I arrive to make a life there (like a bed).
Lastly, I’m gearing up to start a new job, so when I’m not socializing with my cousins online, I’m reading everything I can about Gravity Forms (buy a copy, okay?), and trying to accustom myself to the type of support questions, and answers that I’ll need to be able to quickly and easily pull from my brain. I’m also trying to figure out if there are any shortcomings in support that I can improve, and any potential opportunities for growth, new development or marketing strategies to add benefit to rocketgenius and their customers.
All of this has me passing out fairly early as I am exhausted by eight or nine at night. Unfortunately, despite lying in bed for long periods of time, my quality of sleep has been low. Hopefully, once I’m all set-up and normal again, I’ll be fine. I am definitely looking forward to being settled and this stressful transitional period being over.
One response to “Stress, Stress and More Stress”
I’m always in awe of how well you express yourself!
One little bit of advice – take it or leave it – sleep is very important to counter-act the negative effects of stress. Quality sleep is invaluable, so whatever you can do to improve it during this stressful time I’d recommend it.
I love you!
