So, on November 14th, I had my 29th Birthday. I can’t believe I’ve made it around the sun twenty-nine times. There are a number of days where I didn’t think I’d make it, and just as many times where I felt as though it was either going too fast or too slow.
I received many great things for my birthday. I took a week off and visited family in Kingston and got to see everyone that lives there. I got to cross off nearly half the things on my wishlist. When I returned home, I had also received a card from my dad which included a picture of my half-brother, Nick. I’ll have to get it scanned at some point so I can upload a digital copy some where. It is weird to see him as a six year old.
I was also pleasantly surprised to receive birthday wishes from people on every social media site that I have an account on. It was neat to have them come in from Twitter, Google+ and Facebook.
I have to admit, I spent a bit of money on myself while in Kingston, buying some new clothes, shoes, glasses, books and magazines. All in all, it was a very nice birthday and a huge thanks goes out to my family for putting me up while I was in town, feeding me, and entertaining me. Also, a big thanks to Tom for the Flickr Pro extension. His gift was my only non-family gift for my birthday, and that was really unexpected and is greatly appreciated.
