So after giving away my 5.1 surround sound set-up to my cousin, Kyle, because my rented room was too small for a 5.1 system, I’ve decided to pick up a 2.1 system for myself. I’m sick of wearing headphones for five or more hours a day while I’m on my computer listening to music and working.

What have I decided to get? Logitech Z623’s, a THX certified, 200 watt system. It should allow me to fill up the room nicely, and give me some serious bass. When I’m home alone, I can probably rattle the entire house with it. I spent way too much on the system, and probably only needed a set of thirty dollar speakers, but I’ve learned that buying one nice thing is much better than having to constantly replace something that is sub-standard. And between my computer and camera, I have no other hobbies or anything. At least, this is how I’m justifying it to myself.

So in the next week or two, I’ll have a nice set of speakers to listen to all the dubstep music I’m currently into.
