WordPress.com Password Reset Request

I’ve had my WordPress.com account since the service started years ago, and I’ve gotten over two dozen e-mail since then incorrectly trying to reset my password, as many people would like to have the sub-domain I have that originally came with my account. I’ve even received comments on the “dead” blog asking me to relinquish control over the sub-domain because they want it.

At the end of the day, I’m hesitant to give it up because I might use it, and I feel like I earned my spot by being one of the early people using this service, despite the fact that my most active blog is here rather than the original sub-domain I was given.

I’ll definitely never give up my username, despite not really using that moniker online anymore, I still feel proud that for once, I was able to secure it before anyone else…
