Starting Moving Preparations

This is the part I hate the most. As of today, I’ve given my official notice at work, and that will end up being the easiest part of my move to Brockville.

I need to cancel some services and appointments, get ready to move others, pack my stuff, find a place to live, and find a way to move my stuff to the new place and all of this needs to happen by November 1st.

It is definitely stressful and distracting from working. I have to finish out one project at work that is at sixty percent complete, and I have to help tie up lose ends with my co-worker over the next week or so.

I can’t wait until this is all over and I’m already three months into my new job.

  1. Not to add to your todo list, but you should get you dental records from your dentist so you can bring them with you to your new dentist.

    • Yes, that’s one of the things I’ve already thought about. The timing is pretty good as I just got the crown lengthening done, and have to wait a minimum of 2 months for the next part of the crown procedure anyways. So I’ll get a new dentist right away in Brockville, and get them to do the last two steps once my benefits kick in.
