One of the food items I’ve enjoyed most is baking powder biscuits. A simple food, it works well with chili or beef stew and I can eat it on its own with a bit of butter or margarine.
I recently found a recipe that I follow loosely that usually creates a great product. I found it on AllRecipes.com and it’s called, Mom’s Baking Powder Biscuits.
Five ingredients, a bit of work, and remembering to double check the ingredient amounts before I use them is all it takes. I mention double checking because, one time, I accidentally added too much salt and they were brutal to eat, but I really wanted biscuits. I suggest using a bit less salt than the recipe calls for and a bit more baking powder. You might also need a bit of extra milk if you scale the portion size downwards.
If you haven’t had them, you should! They always taste best fresh from the oven.

Those extra salty ones were so gross!
