So I went and saw Goon today. It wasn’t my original choice but after reading reviews of the other movies currently playing in theatres, it looked as though it was my best choice.

While I’m not a sports person, nor a big fan of Seann William Scott, I did find myself enjoying this movie. It was a bit over the top and many people are saying it glorifies violence, but it does come together for an entertaining experience.

It is like Forrest Gump meets Rocky in Canada on ice.

Overall, I would give it a 3.5 out of 5. You don’t have to see it on the big screen, but it is worth watching when it comes out for home viewing.
