So, I’ve had my new computer for a little while now, and as you can see, I named it Tardis (a Doctor Who reference for those not in the know).

The machine is not without its issues, but I’m trying to squash bugs, and crossing my fingers that there are no hardware issues. I’m putting the machine through its paces, and it is performing masterfully in most tasks. I can’t believe the speed difference in starting up my computer, running most of my applications, and the new video card is having no issues running even the most graphically intense games.

While I still don’t know if it was a smart and worthwhile purchase, I’m definitely enjoying the boost in performance.

Now I hope it lasts for two or more years like my old machine.
