WordPress.org to WordPress.com?

I’m considering moving all my sites from WordPress.org software, hosted on various servers to WordPress.com’s hosted solution. The reason behind this is that I don’t have the time or the energy to properly maintain WordPress installations currently, and as easy as they’ve made it, with between half a dozen to a dozen blogs, I just never get around to managing them all correctly.

I’ve had this blog on WordPress.com for some time now, and while the limitations have sometimes been frustrating, I’ve mostly adjusted to the service, and while the cost might be more than hosting it myself, I’ve never had a security issue with any WordPress.com blog. Downtime has been less than any of my web hosts, features are automatically added, and the service is always getting better without any intervention from me.

At the end of the day, until my time is such that I can properly manage WordPress installations to gain back the wide scale customization that I enjoy, WordPress.com is just where I should blog from and where I hope to move my cousin’s blog to in the coming week.
