So on Friday, I went to visit my cousin in Kingston. He and I got to hang out a fair bit more than when I moved down this way. It was really nice. He definitely got me what I wanted most for my birthday: time.

He spent time walking around various stores and malls with me. He spent time watching movies with me. He spent time on a short photo walk and boat ride. It was really nice of him, and greatly appreciated.

A huge thanks goes to everyone though for my birthday presents and the things we got to do together. I got to see Megamind with my cousins, and aunt. I got to see Red with Mark. I had a nice dinner with nearly everyone, including my brother, Amber, Ben, my Mom, Grandma, Aunt and cousins.

Serina was a bit overwhelming, and Ben was a bit loud and moody, but I guess that’s just how kids are. I survived without too many bruises, or too strong of a headache.

I definitely don’t feel like I’ve only made it one more trip around the sun. It has been a long feeling year.

Another birthday is over though, and it is time to get back to work. So much to do, so little energy to do it all. Getting older doesn’t really bother me, except for the increasing pains and decreasing energy.
