Gaming With Friends

I pretty much solely play multiplayer video games with my friends now. I don’t think I’ve played more than two hours of solo gaming for over a year now. I really appreciate that my cousin, Mark, and a long time friend, Steph, take the time to play games with me online. I think without the ability to unwind through these various simulations, I’d have gone stir crazy a long time ago.

I am not one for partying, getting drunk, or otherwise being crazy, and so helping out my corp by using my wealth to get things for them is one of the most fulfilling things I do. Spending three hours building a civilization with my cousin to conquer the virtual world, gives me a strong sense of joy.

I don’t understand why so many people get a hate-on for games as it has really helped stave off any relapse of depression as both a social outlet, and a way to relieve stress.

I think that people who are hard on games like that simply don’t understand. I’m much like you, I don’t drink, I’ve never done drugs, I don’t like to party. I enjoy reading, I don’t waste my time watching tv – but I do play video games. I see nothing wrong with this, as long as it doesn’t prevent me from functioning in society. It’s just another hobby, and it’s a really cost efficient one at that.

Now just send me a list of the data cores you need, and I’ll get them for you. 🙂 Please!?

Hah, I purposely left them off of my post so that people reading couldn’t figure out what I was inventing to sell. I’ll send a list in-game although you really have done so much already!

I seriously enjoy doing it though. Buying them, picking them up, moving them and then knowing they’ll be used by friends. 🙂
