My Uncle is due back soon and recently sent my family an e-mail talking about his exit. My best friend just recently went over to Afghanistan.
I sometimes wish I was a civilian contractor over there, laying networking cable, making some great money, and seeing what little of the area that I’d be permitted to see.
I am glad my Uncle is going to make it home safe, and I hope the same of my friend. The last thing I want is any more Canadians to loose their lives over what I consider a fight Canada never should have been officially part of.
