I love that Steam is working to become the center point when it comes to the future of gaming on Apple computers. Often, on my Macbook Pro, I’d wish that I could play games with my friends, but unfortunately, the only one that worked on my machine was EvE Online. Now, dozens of titles are working via Steam for Mac and the most recent addition is Team Fortress 2.
While most Apple computers don’t have the best video cards, I still think it is great that finally one company decided it was worth their time to be a platform to push gaming forward on the OS X operating system. Now if only they could get their client to work on Linux, and get some games compatible for that OS. Maybe then I’d go back to dual-booting Ubuntu and Windows 7.
