OPPW: Week Seven – 295.4lbs

So, I’ve made my goal for this week, and made up for my poor showing last week. While I’m still behind where I’d like to be in this whole thing, I’m making progress and that is what matters. Some interesting things of note:

  • I was better with eating this week. Keeping my caloric intake down.
  • I wasn’t very good when it came to drinks, and I had a lot of sugary beverages this week.. boo!
  • I walked a lot in very hot weather.
  • I got an upset stomach again from eating deli meat at a local grocery store. This was the second time it has happened.

My goal for next week will be to get down to 294lbs. I’m hoping to work on getting my drinking back on track, continuing to try to eat better, and now that I got paid, heading over to the local gym to check out their prices and see about membership.

The hardest part of the last week has been eating well while dealing with a mountain of stress from work. I feel like I’m falling apart physically and emotionally due to all the stress at work. I’m not one to meditate or anything, but I definitely am appreciative of Mark and Kyle (my cousins) jumping on the odd video game with me to help me concentrate on something fun. I don’t know if I would have made it through this week without the help.

  1. Glad to hear you’re making progress – Keep up the good work.
Also glad to hear that you have a “stress-reliever”!
    Love ya!

  2. Progress is good! Relieving stress can be hard – I tend to try and go for walks, cycle or play badminton… Or play video games, but I find the physicality doing things helps more (for me).
